I spend a disproportionate amount of my time thinking about and consuming food. Mostly I love the conviviality of food, how it brings people together and the discussions which occur around a crowded table.

I am Australian but a global citizen, currently residing in Tokyo. I travel often and always in the search of local food discoveries.

I have very fond memories of a childhood filled with good food. Rhubarb is rather nostalgic for me as my grandpa had an amazing rhubarb patch and I used to watch the gorgeous pink stems illuminate each year. Baked rhubarb and custard is the most comforting and homely dish for me.

In 2014 I completed a Masters in Food Culture and Communications from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. I am a gastronomy consultant, writer and editor.
